AH Radio: Cavaliers exploring ways to add another pick

Cavaliers GM Koby Altman is expected to be plenty busy in the days leading up to the draft.

The Cavaliers currently hold the Nos. 5 and 26 overall picks, but would seemingly like to add another before next week’s NBA draft.

Trading the contract of shooting guard J.R. Smith just might do the trick. Also, can the Cavs move up to the No. 3 spot, currently held by the New York Knicks?

I joined Jeff Phelps and Andy Baskin of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland to discuss all that and more. Give a listen in the player below.

  1. RJ Barrett wants nothing more than to go to and play for the Knicks.

He’d be a 3-4 year rental if the Cavs draft him. He does not want to play in Cleveland, especially after we keep him from going to the Knicks via trade.

Dont do it Cavs. There are under the radar steals in this draft.
