Milwaukee Bucks do-it-all swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo and Houston Rockets superstar James Harden have been named the NBA’s Players of the Week for Week 1.
The Bucks are 2-1 after the first week and Antetokounmpo averaged 38.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists while shooting 67.2 percent from the field.
The Rockets, meanwhile, went a perfect 3-0 with Harden putting up 27.7 points and 9.0 assists.
Houston traded for Chris Paul this summer to ease the load on Harden to initiate the offense every play down the court, but Paul is expected to miss a month due to a knee ailment he’s dealing with.
