Antetokounmpo offered to save Kidd’s job with Bucks

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is not thrilled over the team’s decision to fire head coach Jason Kidd.

Kidd, who was relieved of his coaching duties Monday, told ESPN that Antetokounmpo called him about 15 minutes before and offered to help save his job.

Per ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne:

A source tells AmicoHoops Antetokounmpo and Kidd were “very close” and that the Bucks’ franchise player trusted Kidd’s vision for the future.

Now, the Bucks appear to have a dilemma on its hands with their best player not happy over an organizational move. Milwaukee has to get the next head coach right. If not, the Greek Freak could grow even more disgruntled.
