New Orleans Pelicans star big man Anthony Davis has been fined $25,000 from the NBA for verbally abusing a game official and failing to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection.
Davis received his second technical foul of the game and was subsequently ejected with 4:11 remaining in the second quarter of the Pelicans’ 120-102 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Smoothie King Center.

Davis is averaging 25.6 points and 11.0 rebounds on the season, shooting 57.0 percent from the field. The Pelicans enter their matchup against the Utah Jazz tonight with a record of 11-10.
