With free agency just around the next bend for the NBA on July 1, new odds have come out of Las Vegas in regards to where LeBron James will play next season.
James, the 33-year-old superstar, has until 11:59 p.m. Friday to inform the Cleveland Cavaliers whether he will pick up his $35.6 million player option for next season.
If he does not, he will become an unrestricted free agent for the third time in his career.
As of Saturday night, Bovada continues to list the Los Angeles Lakers as the favorites to land James, placing their odds at 4/13.
The biggest move in terms of the odds to sign James is by his current team, the Cavaliers, who moved up from fourth to second. Bovada posts Cleveland’s odds of re-signing James at 13/4.
Houston, at 15/2, rounds at the top three.
