The cause of the Los Angeles Lakers’ struggles has more to do with injuries and the Anthony Davis saga than LeBron James, according to Chris Broussard of FOX Sports.
The Lakers are in danger of missing the playoffs in James’ first season. He has made eight straight Finals appearances, winning two championships with the Miami Hear and another with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
But the Lakers were unsuccessful in trying to trade for Davis in February and have since lost young starters Lonzo Ball (ankle) and Brandon Ingram (shoulder) for the season.
