The Washington Wizards have traded guard Jodie Meeks, a second-round pick and cash to the Milwaukee Bucks, according to a report from ESPN.
The Bucks, who are trading second-rounder back to the Wizards, intend to waive Meeks, ESPN added.
The cash will likely be used to cover Meeks’ salary, so the Bucks will be getting a second-rounder for nothing.

Meanwhile, the Wizards will now be off the hook for Meeks’ $3.4 million hit on their salary cap. Theycan now potentially replace Meeks with a player who earns the league minimum and save some cash.
