Bulls to sign Blakeney to NBA deal

The Chicago Bulls will sign Antonio Blakeney to a minimum NBA deal Thursday, according to report from K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

Blakeney appeared in 19 games with the Bulls last season and averaged 7.9 points while shooting 37.1 percent from the field and 28.8 percent from three. He was on a two-way contract.

Per the report, Blakeney still might spend time with the Bulls’ G League team. He was named G League Rookie of the Year in 2017-18.

The Bulls like Blakeney’s scoring ability and perimeter shooting.
