The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed free agent guard David Nwaba, according to a report from Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
The Chicago Bulls rescinded the qualifying offer on Nwaba, making him an unrestricted free agent. The Cavs were in touch with Nwaba from day one of free agency.
Free agent David Nwaba has come to terms with the Cleveland Cavaliers, league sources tell Yahoo. Both sides are still working on final details of deal.

Nwaba appeared in 70 games this past season for the Bulls and averaged 7.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists, shooting 47.8 percent from the field and 34.6 percent from three.
The 6-foot-4, 209-pound Nwaba has played 90 career games in the NBA with the Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. He holds averages of 7.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
