Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving left Friday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets after teammate Aron Baynes accidentally elbowed him in the head.
The Celtics later announced Irving won’t return and is being evaluated for possible concussion symptoms.

Irving came into tonight averaging 22.0 points and 5.7 assists while shooting 44.6 percent from the field and 32.1 percent beyond the arc.
The Celtics are 10-2 and sit atop the Eastern Conference standings.
