The Boston Celtics have signed undrafted Central Florida center Tacko Fall to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express.
Fall is 7-foot-6 and 311 pounds and a native of Senegal. He averaged 11.0 points, 7.7 rebounds a whopping 2.6 blocked shots this past season as a senior at UCF.
He was a straight-A student and if basketball doesn’t work out, Fall has dreams of becoming an engineer for a large electronic company such as Microsoft.
Fall worked out for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers, Orlando Magic and Charlotte Hornets prior to the draft.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary deal. It allows teams to convert the contracts to two-way deals, provided it happens before the start of the regular season.
