Channing Frye is without question the guy the Cleveland Cavaliers — and their fans — will miss the most of the six guys shipped out to acquire The New 4 in the team’s deadline-day makeover last Thursday.
Now a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, who received Frye and Isaiah Thomas in exchange for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr., Frye, the veteran, sharp-shooting big man, has a straight-from-the-heart message to the Cavaliers, their fans and the entire region:

Frye, 34, did not travel to Minnesota for the Lakers’ final game before the All-Star break because of personal reasons. The Lakers dropped a 119-111 verdict to the Timberwolves.
