CHICAGO — The Chicago Bulls have announced that rookie forward Lauri Markkanen will miss Monday’s game against the Boston Celtics due to back spasms.
Markkanen’s back flared up this morning at shootaround and he will get treatment tonight and tomorrow.
In 25 games this season, Markkanen is averaging 14.7 points and 8.1 rebounds while shooting 40.1 percent from the field and 33.5 percent from beyond the arc.
The Bulls enter Monday with a record of 5-20.
