Los Angeles Clippers small forward Danilo Gallinari suffered a right thumb injury after punching an opponent during Italy’s exhibition game against Netherlands.
After getting his hand checked out at the hospital, it has been determined that Gallinari broke his right thumb, according to Sky Sports Italy.
ESPN is adding that Gallinari will meet with Clippers doctors and he is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

The Clippers acquired Gallinari in a three-team sign-and-trade deal with the Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks.
The sharpshooter signed a three-year, $65 million deal with Los Angeles after averaging 18.2 points per game last season with the Nuggets.
