Free-agent forward Jamel Artis has agreed to a partially guaranteed contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to a report from Shams Charania of Stadium.
Artis played for the Orlando Magic last season and was waived by the Sacramento Kings over the weekend. He played for the Cleveland Cavaliers’ summer entry in Las Vegas this past July.
Jamel Artis is close to signing an Exhibit 10 contract with the Clippers, confirmed a league source not authorized to speak publicly. Following on @ShamsCharania’s report. Non-guaranteed contract would pay Pitt product $50K if he stays w/ team's G League affiliate for 60 days.
