The Los Angeles Clippers announced Friday that guard Milos Teodosic has a tear of the plantar fascia in his left foot and is out indefinitely.
Teodosic will be re-evaluated in two weeks by the Clippers’ training staff.
The Clippers are currently out of the playoff picture, sitting in the ninth spot in the Western Conference standings. They trail the Utah Jazz by one game for the eighth and final playoff spot.
There is a strong possibility that Teodosic won’t return this season. In 45 games, the rookie guard is averaging 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists while shooting 41.9 percent from the field and 37.9 percent from beyond the arc.
