Crawford declines player option with Timberwolves

Veteran guard Jamal Crawford reportedly received a one-year deal with the Suns.

Jamal Crawford will be looking for a new team, according to a report.

Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports Crawford has declined his player option that called for $4.5 million with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 2018-19 season.

The 38-year-old Crawford averaged 10.3 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20.7 minutes in 80 games off the bench last season for Minnesota in his 18th NBA season. The University of Michigan product shot 41.0 percent from the field, including 33.1 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.
