Dewayne Dedmon will be remaining with the Atlanta Hawks, unless he’s traded.
The 7-foot center exercised his $7.2 million player option for the 2018-19 season with the team, according to a report by Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Dedmon averaged 10 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 62 games (46 starts) for the Hawks last season. He signed a two-year, $14 million deal with Atlanta last summer.
He joined Atlanta last season after a solid 2016-17 season with the San Antonio Spurs. In 286 games in his career, Dedmon has averaged 5.5 points and 5.7 boards a game.
