Cleveland Cavaliers superstars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were both in Miami recently, and according to ESPN Cleveland, James and Irving at one point met up and talked.
Tony Rizzo of ESPN Cleveland appeared on The Really Big Show Podcast and suggested that LeBron and Kyrie had a peaceful interaction.
Irving, of course, has requested a trade from the Cavs and reportedly wants to escape James’ shadow.
“From very reliable sources. Plural. Kyrie and LeBron were in the same room over the weekend in Florida…Apparently these guys were in the same room and here’s the deal. I don’t know if there’s a thawing out process. All I do know is LeBron didn’t punch Kyrie the way Stephen A thought he would. I can report that. As for what they talked about or discussed…it was very cool. They didn’t get into any heated discussions.”
Ever since word got out that Irving wants to leave Cleveland, there has been a flock of rumors stating he hates playing with James and is unhappy.
Whether the rumor is true that LeBron and Kyrie actually met up has yet to be determined, but Cavs fans everywhere are hoping this is the start of Irving rebuilding his relationship with James and Cleveland’s front office.
