Charlotte Hornets center Dwight Howard has been fined $25,000 for making an obscene gesture toward a fan.
The incident occurred during the second quarter of the Hornets’ 112-94 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, November 5th.
Howard, in his first season with the Hornets after spending last year with the Atlanta Hawks, is averaging 14.6 points and 13.6 rebounds per game while shooting 56.7 percent from the field.
The eight-time All-Star is still a putrid free throw shooter, hitting 40.4 percent from the charity stripe.
Charlotte enters Tuesday with a record of 5-5.
