Former Detroit Pistons forward Tony Mitchell has agreed to a short-term contract with Argentinian club Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba, according to a report from Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
The Pistons once had high hopes for Mitchell, who was drafted in the second round (No. 37 overall) in 2013.
Mitchell, 26, then spent time in the G-League and overseas, including stops in Venezuela, China and the Philippines. He carries NBA career averages of 1.0 points and 1.2 rebounds in 21 career games.
