Free agent big man Vonleh agrees to deal with T-Wolves

Noah Vonleh posted career-highs in points and rebounds last season with the Knicks.

Free agent forward Noah Vonleh has agreed to a one-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

The deal is reportedly worth $2 million.

Vonleh, 23, spent last season with the New York Knicks, compiling career-highs in points (8.4) and rebounds (7.8) in 68 games.

The ninth overall draft pick in 2014, Vonleh has also spent time with the Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers and Chicago Bulls.

For the Timberwolves, the Vonleh pickup should help shore up a frontline that lost Dario Saric (Phoenix Suns) and Taj Gibson (Knicks).
