Free agent forward Kenneth Faried turned down a contract offer of $2 million from Gungsha of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Faried, 29, hasn’t generated much interest from the NBA, but may still be seeking more to head overseas.
He played for the Denver Nuggets from 2011-18, and was traded to the Brooklyn Nets a year ago in a salary-related maneuver. He appeared in just 12 games with the Nets before having his contract bought out in January.
Faried then signed with the Houston Rockets and actually played fairly well, averaging 12.9 points and 8.2 rebounds in 25 appearances. He became a free agent in July.
