Free agent forward Jeff Green has agreed to a one-year contract with the Utah Jazz, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The deal was reportedly for the veteran’s minimum of $2.5 million.
Green, 32, spent this past season with the Washington Wizards, compiling averages of 12.3 points and 4.0 rebounds. Before that, he was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers team that reached its fourth straight Finals in 2017-18. The Jazz will be Green’s fourth team in four seasons.
He has also spent time with the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies.
Green becomes the third free-agent addition to the Jazz frontcourt, joining power forward Ed Davis and small forward Bojan Bogdanovic. Green is 6-foot-9 and traditionally has played either spot.
