Free agent guard Jimmer Fredette intends to sign a two-year agreement with Greek club Panathinaikos, according to Nikos Varlas of Eurohoops.
Fredette recently left the Golden State Warriors summer-league team to pursue overseas options and remain injury-free while doing so.
The Phoenix Suns declined their option on Fredette following the season, and the former BYU scoring sensation and NBA lottery pick quickly latched on with the Warriors.
Fredette, 30, has also spent time with the Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls. He dominated for a couple years in China before returning to the NBA at the end of last season.
He struggled in limited action with the Suns, averaging just 3.7 points and shooting 27.6 percent, while missing all 13 of his 3-point attempts.
