Free-agent guard Sessions agrees to deal in Israel

Ramon Sessions appeared in 13 games with the Knicks last season and has played in the NBA since 2007.

Free-agent NBA guard Ramon Sessions has signed with Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, the team announced in a news release.

The contract is for three months with an option to extend it for the entire season.

Sessions, 32, spent last season with the Washington Wizards and had been in the NBA since 2007. He has played for nine teams in just a little more than 10 years.

Sessions carries NBA career averages of 10.3 points and 4.1 assists. He averaged 5.9 points and 3.3 assists in 15 games with the Wizards last season. He also appeared in 13 games for the New York Knicks last year.
