How bleak has the possibility of the San Antonio Spurs being able to patch things up with disgruntled superstar Kawhi Leonard?
So bleak, in fact, even one of Leonard’s teammates in San Antonio doesn’t know if the relationship between the two-time first-team All-NBA performer and the Spurs can be salvaged.
Speaking with the Spanish media recently, Pau Gasol of the Spurs is not sure things can be patched up between Leonard and the team, now that Leonard’s reported demand to be traded went public.
“I do not know if the situation can be rectified after Kawhi’s request to leave, I do not know if a multi-million dollar offer would fix it, he has not talked to him for a long time, he’s a very reserved player.”
