The Memphis Grizzlies have released Omari Johnson, according to a report.
Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports the Grizzlies have parted ways with the forward, whom they signed to a multi-year deal late last season.

The 28-year-old Johnson played in four games for the Grizzlies last season, averaging 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 18.8 minutes in those four games.
The 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward out of Oregon State shot 42.9 recent from the floor for the Grizzlies in those four games.
After going undrafted in 2015, Johnson signed with the Portland Trail Blazers on Sept. 25, 2015, then waived Oct. 23 of that year.
He signed a multi-year contract with the Grizzlies on April 6, 2018.
