The Memphis Grizzlies have signed undrafted guard Matt Mooney, the team announced in a news release.
Mooney is 6-foot-3 and paired with lottery pick Jarrett Culver to help lead Texas Tech to the NCAA championship game last season.
Mooney started all 38 games as a senior and averaged 11.3 points and 3.3 assists. Mooney also played collegiately for Air Force and South Dakota before landing at Texas Tech.
While the Grizzlies did not specify terms, Mooney likely received an Exhibit 10 training camp deal that will land him in the G League.
The Grizzlies currently have rookie Ja Morant, Tyus Jones and De’Anthony Melton manning the point guard spot.
