Harden propels Rockets past hapless Hawks

James Harden of the Rockets will be sidelined for at least two weeks because of a strained left hamstring.

James Harden scored 29 points and passed for 11 assists, and the visiting Houston Rockets cruised past the Atlanta Hawks 119-104 on Friday.

Eric Gordon and Luc Mbah a Moute added 20 points apiece for the Rockets, and Trevor Ariza and Clint Capela each added 12.

Kent Bazemore led the Hawks with 18 points. Dennis Schroder and Taurean Prince had 16 apiece.

The Hawks dropped their eighth straight after opening the season with a win.
