The Atlanta Hawks have acquired the No. 4 overall draft pick from the New Orleans Pelicans for the Nos. 8, 17 and 35 draft picks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Pelicans are also sending forward Solomon Hill, the the 57th overall selection and a 2020 first-rounder (via Cleveland) to the Hawks. The Hawks will also send a future second-rounder, Wojnarowski reported.
As many suspected, the Hawks are pursuing Virginia forward De’Andre Hunter at fourth overall.
“Atlanta GM Travis Schlenk makes a big move in lottery second year in a row to get his man,” Wojnarowski reported. “Last year, it was Trae Young. This time, DeAndre Hunter.”
The Pelicans acquired the fourth overall pick from the Los Angeles Lakers in the Anthony Davis trade.
