Haynes: Clippers priming themselves to lure Leonard

Raptors star and unrestricted free agent Kawhi Leonard is expected to at least grant the Knicks a meeting.

Turns out, Los Angeles may indeed be a landing spot for superstar forward Kawhi Leonard, who is busy right now leading the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the NBA playoffs against the Orlando Magic.

However, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, it’s not the high-profile Lakers, with LeBron James at the fore, who are in a great position to land Leonard, who will be an unrestricted free agent come July.

Rather, it’s the Clippers.
