Hornets put eight players through their paces in workout

Kevin Knox thinks the Knicks will surprise people in 2018-19.

The Charlotte Hornets hosted eight players for the team’s ninth predraft workout Sunday.

According to the team, Oregon forward Troy Brown, Colorado guard George King, Kentucky forward Kevin Knox, UMBC guard Jairus Lyles, Nevada-Las Vegas center Brandon McCoy, Bosnia and Herzegovina forward Billy Preston, Mercer forward Demetre Rivers and Western Michigan guard Thomas Wilder participated in the session.

The Hornets hold the 11th and the 55th overall selections in Thursday’s draft.
