Money talks, and so does Kevin Durant. When it comes to his next contract come July, Durant has made it crystal clear he has a one-track mind.
Appearing on the debut of “Posted Up with Chris Haynes” on Yahoo Sports, the two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player said his next deal will be about one thing.

“I just want to make sure I get as much money as I can on my next deal so I can stack up my money and figure it out,” Durant said. “That’s the plan — play basketball and stack money.”
While players, including Durant, have been taking less money in order to keep the Golden State dynasty humming, Durant told Haynes he’s done with that.
“Nobody can recruit me no more,” Durant said. He said he wants to “dictate the environment I want to be in,” and teams cannot do much to change his mind about where he wants to play next.
