Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker will not play tonight against the Toronto Raptors due to a bruised left shoulder.
Walker suffered the injury after colliding with San Antonio Spurs big man LaMarcus Aldridge during the second half of Saturday’s home loss. He will be replaced in the starting lineup by Michael Carter-Williams.
Walker is averaging 22.3 points and 6.2 assists in 19 games this season, shooting 44.3 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from three.
The Hornets (8-11) enter their matchup with the Raptors (12-7) on a two-game losing streak.
