Knicks’ Porzingis out with ankle and elbow ailments

New York Knicks star stretch forward Kristaps Porzingis will miss tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic due to a sprained left ankle and contused right elbow, the team announced.

The Knicks are on a back-to-back, coming off a 118-113 home win over the Charlotte Hornets last night.

Porzingis has been simply phenomenal so far this season, averaging 30.0 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 51.2 percent from the floor and 38.0 percent beyond the arc.

The Knicks enter tonight with a surprising record of 6-4, good for fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
