The New York Knicks intend to sign shooting guard John Jenkins to a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.
Jenkins had been playing on a 10-day deal with the Washington Wizards, appearing in four games and averaging 1.8 points.
Before that, he was tearing it up for the Knicks’ G-League affiliate in Westchester, scoring 24.7 points and hitting 43 percent on 3-pointers.
Jenkins is 6-foot-4 and was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with the No. 23 overall pick in 2013. He has also spent time with the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns.
The Knicks still have two open roster spots and by league rules, must fill one by Feb. 21.
