Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo will miss up to four weeks with a broken right hand, according to a report from Shams Charania of Stadium.
Rondo suffered the injury in the Lakers’ 126-117 home win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. Lakers coach Luke Walton confirmed the injury to reporters after the game.
Rondo, 32, was held scoreless against the Blazers in 16 minutes. He is averaging 9.3 points, 6.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds on the season.
The Lakers (8-6) have won four straight, taking an advantage of a stretch in which they’ve played four of their past five at home.
