LeBron to sit until Cavs’ preseason finale

LeBron James won’t play another preseason game until the last one, he told reporters Monday in Atlanta.

As Amico Hoops reported last month, James has been determined to play for the Cavaliers’ preseason finale at Ohio State on Oct. 18. The Cavs have three preseason games left prior to that — Monday at Atlanta, Thursday vs. Toronto and Friday at Chicago.

“Since Coach (Tyronn) Lue took over, it’s what he wants,” James told reporters in Atlanta. “I would love to play in that game (at Ohio State) but at the same time, we’ll go with what Coach wants to do.

“He said he wanted me to play game one and then see how I feel after that game. I was able to play against Philly as well.”
