Cavaliers star LeBron James is the executive producer of a new show, Cleveland Hustles, which premiered Wednesday night on CNBC.

As USA Today explained, the show “matches four local business leaders with eight Cleveland-area entrepreneurs. Each leader selects a business to invest in and works with the entrepreneur to open a brick-and-mortar store in underserved Cleveland neighborhoods.”

James said: “We’re giving people an opportunity to live out a dream and giving small-business owners a chance to do what they love to do.”

The Cavaliers are coming off the first championship in franchise history and James was named NBA Finals MVP. He has a history of generosity toward Northeast Ohio, from where James hails.

“To revitalize Cleveland, we need to work block by block and street by street,” he said. “I wanted to invest my time and influence to create a movement that can strengthen our community and transform neighborhoods.”
