The Dallas Mavericks have signed undrafted Penn State shooting guard Josh Reaves to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.
Reaves averaged 10.6 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Nittany Lions this past season as a senior, shooting 43 percent from the field.
More notably, was the fact that Reaves was named Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year.
“Dallas ended the season with its two-way spots occupied by Daryl Macon and Kostas Antetokounmpo, who are both free agents,” Arthu Hill of HoopsRumors explained.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary deal. It allows teams to convert the contracts to two-way deals, provided it happens before the start of the regular season.
