Milwaukee Bucks small forward Jabari Parker is making sound progress as he rehabs from a left ACL tear, and the team announced Monday that Parker has been assigned to the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G League.
The Herd are scheduled to practice in Milwaukee Monday and Tuesday at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center.
Parker will not play in the Herd’s game Wednesday night, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Parker’s 2016-17 campaign came to an abrupt, bitter end after he tore his left ACL for the second time. In 51 games last season, Parker averaged 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 49 percent.
The Chicago native has been ramping up his pregame workouts and is looking more explosive as each day passes.
