Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey has never attempted to hide his obsession with beating the Golden State Warriors.
After his Rockets held a 3-2 lead on the defending champions in the Western Conference Finals, they lost All-Star guard Chris Paul to a right hamstring injury and dropped the final two games of the series.
What Morey can’t comprehend is why every one of the other 28 NBA teams aren’t obsessed with beating Golden State. too.

Morey was asked on SportsCenter about his obsession level in regards to beating Golden State and he doubled down on his previous statements.
“I’d say 10,” he said. “I don’t understand the teams that aren’t obsessed with beating them. To win the championship, you have to beat the Warriors.”
Morey admitted the Rockets are singular in their goal when it comes to Golden State.
“Every team should figuring out how to beat the Warriors,” he. said. “That’s all we work on. Obviously, there’s other very good to great teams in this league. But, the Warriors are likely on their way to winning three of the last four titles.
“So, we’re going to have to load it up and knock them off next year, hopefully.”
