Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball underwent an MRI and the results revealed a left knee contusion.
Ball is being listed as day-to-day and questionable for Friday’s home game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The No. 2 overall pick missed six weeks earlier this season because of a left knee ailment. Ball told reporters after suffering the injury he wasn’t worried, saying it was “pretty much a bruise.”
On the season, Ball is averaging 10.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 7.2 assists while shooting 36.0 percent from the field and 30.5 percent from three.
