The Cleveland Cavaliers are turning over as many stones as possible in preparation for the upcoming NBA draft.
According to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, Anfernee Simons will be working out for the Cavaliers soon. He also has workouts planned with the New York Knicks, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Milwaukee Bucks, having already worked out for the Chicago Bulls, the Phoenix Suns, the Portland Trail Blazers, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Utah Jazz and the Orlando Magic.

Cleveland owns the eighth overall selection the draft.
Simons, a 6-foot-5 combo guard who played at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., was slated to attend the University of Louisville before the Cardinals’ program was penalized for its 2015 sex scandal.
He is the first American player to bypass the draft since the NBA put in its current age-restriction rules in 2005.
Simons is considered by most draft gurus as a mid-to-late first-round pick, meaning he will most likely not be in play for the Cavaliers at No. 8. However, a plethora of trades go down before, during and after the draft, so anything and everyone are in play.
