Embiid erupts, Sixers stun Clippers on road

Julius Erving says Joel Embiid has shown no weakness from a skill standpoint.

Joel Embiid erupted for 32 points and 16 rebounds, and the Philadelphia 76ers offered a glimpse of the future with a 109-105 road win over the reeling Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.

Robert Covington added 31 points for the Sixers, including 5-of-8 shooting on 3-pointers. Ben Simmons added 22 points and 12 rebounds.

Lou Williams scored 31 and Blake Griffin had 29 to lead the Clippers, who have lost six straight.
