Damian Lillard scored 29 points, CJ McCollum had 26 and the visiting Portland Trail Blazers overcame a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to edge the John Wall-less Washington Wizards 108-105 on Saturday.
Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 26 points and Otto Porter Jr. scored 24.
Beal missed a jumper to give the Wizards the lead with 6.5 seconds left, as well as a 3-pointer that would’ve tied it at the final buzzer.
“I guess there was just a little guy sitting on top of the rim knocking the ball out of there,” Beal told reporters. “I definitely put it on my shoulders.”
