LaMarcus Aldridge scored 32 points and Gregg Popovich became the fastest coach to reach 300 road wins, and the San Antono Spurs fought past the host Dallas Mavericks 97-91 on Tuesday.
Popovich accomplished the feat in 835 road games — 41 less than it took Pat Riley, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Miami Heat.
Patty Mills added a season-high 19 points for the Spurs.
The Mavericks, who fell to 2-13 for the second consecutive season, recievedĀ a career-high 27 points from rookie guard Dennis Smith Jr.
