Kings sign forward Thompson to summer-league squad

Former Sixers forward Hollis Thompson is reportedly signing with the Kings.

Former Philadelphia 76ers small forward Hollis Thompson has signed with the Sacramento Kings’ summer team, according to J.D. Shaw of Hoops Rumors.

Thompson last played in the NBA in the 2016-17 season, then spent time with Greek club Olympiacos the following year. He carries NBA career averages of 7.7 points and 3.1 rebounds.

Thompson, 23, played with the Sixers from 2013-17 and also appeared in nine games with the New Orleans Pelicans. He went undrafted out of Georgetown in 2012.

The Kings host the four-team California Classic from July 1-3. Play begins in the Las Vegas Summer League on July 5.
