Hawks keeping Cleveland, adding Lee

The Hawks waived Antonious Cleveland on Saturday.

The Hawks intend to sign shooting guard Antonious Cleveland to a multi-year contract that will guarantee his current deal for the remainder of the regular season, according to ESPN.

Earlier in the day, ESPN reported that the Hawks are signing G-League wing Damion Lee to a 10-day contract.

Cleveland was with the Mavericks on a two-way contract earlier this season, appearing in 13 games. He also played a combined seven games in the G League, both with the Texas Legends and Austin Spurs, averaging 13.6 points and 3.4 rebounds.

Lee went undrafted out of Drexel in 2016 and has spent most of his professional career in the minors. As ESPN noted, he is engaged to the sister of Warriors star Steph Curry and Mavericks guard Seth Curry.
